Creativity Exercises

Short story from random words

The teenage ran excited along the library floor, straight to the book she was looking for. Everyone looked stunned as she sat in the corner reading to herself quietly. An hour later, she had finished the book, front and back. She strolled to the next bookcase to find something different, something new. She decided she would face her fears of ghosts as she picked up an intense thriller. As she got deeper into the book, she was glad she had changed her routine. She gripped her jacket tight as the story got more forceful. She closed her eyes and could hear slow footsteps behind her. As the feet got closer and closer, she clenched her fists unware of what could happen next. She felt warm arms around her and all of a sudden didnt feel scared anymore. She opened her eyes to find her mother and realised how lucky she was.
